Big balcony, comfortable bed, quiet location, attentive staff, small size of hotel.
Nothing at all.

The hotel was small enough that you had truly personal service. The staff was very friendly and professional and they were always ready with a smile to help you out. The room was certainly big enough with a balcony overlooking the hills and vineyards of Bad Waltersdorf. It was a very quiet and tranquil atmosphere, including a Japanese garden, a tea room, and an Aqua Meditation Room. The treatments offered covered a wide range from traditional to Ayurveda. There were always activities offered from water gymnastics to Nordic walking. The food was very good - in the afternoon, a buffet was laid out with soup, salad, bread, and dessert. The atmosphere was very casual - you could eat on the terrace in your bathroom, if you liked. Tea, juice and coffee was available from early in the morning until 5:00 P.M. I liked that you were not tied into breakfast & dinner - I was able to walk to the Heuriger/Buschenschrank and enjoy a light meal & a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset. I liked the hotel so much that I booked an extra night.
I felt the sauna area was lacking in two ways. One, the terrace was not so comfortable, especially the loungers. The non-F.K.K. Area had a very nice garden to relax in. It would have been good if they had used some of the garden area for the sauna area. Two, it also would be good to have a cool-down pool in the F.K.K. area. There was a warm pool inside, but you had to put your bathing suit on and go outside if you wanted to take a dip in a cooler pool. I can't really fault the hotel because when you go to a smaller, more personal hotel, you can't have everything and still maintain a reasonable price. I think that the hotel needs to be clear on their policy regarding children - the tranquility of the wellness area was spoiled by children playing loudly in the Japanese garden and the thermal bath area.

This is my second stay at the hotel and I liked it even more this time. On Booked.net, it was quite clearly stated that this was not a hotel for children. The staff is very friendly, professional, and truly helpful. The hotel personnel had no problem speaking English with me. There a wide range of spa treatments available - much more than you would expect from a hotel of this size. The decor is quite warm & inviting: shades of orange, yellow & beige with an Asian theme. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing & comfortable and everything is conveniently located. I have been in some wellness hotels where it seemed like the corridors were 1 km long between the rooms and the thermal areas! I especially like the "Frühstück und Mehr" which gives you the full buffet breakfast and then a salad, soup, bread, tea, coffee, and cake buffet from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This was especially welcome for arriving guests! This is a nice option for people who want to visit Heurigen or Buschenschrank places nearby for dinner and wine.

Nestled in the serene hills of Styria, this hotel is located in a residential area, providing a peaceful escape from the city. Unlike some other hotels in the area, this hotel offers a much more relaxed atmosphere. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a dedicated attention to detail in the decor and architecture of the property. the breakfast spread is delightful, with locally sourced produce and organic ingredients. the spa area and sauna are well maintained, providing the perfect setting for rest and rejuvenation.
Some of the loungers in the pool area are quite uncomfortable.

Friendly staff (first time in my life I´m greeted with an handshake at check in desk), clean and well fitted wellness area, very good food (choice not wide, quality was excellent, including wines). Excellent for a romantic weekend (we saw only couples of all ages). We´ll come again.
With full board beverages at dinner aren´t included, and they can be expensive (1 glass wine = between 4 and 5 euro). Bathroom of our room (217) wasn´t really "great" (no windows, quite small). Better to have a shower in wellness area directly.

Wonderful experience! The location of the hotel was excellent, surrounded by a beautiful countryside and vineyards. The spa was top-notch, with various saunas, thermal baths, and massages. It was private and relaxing. The hotel staff was very friendly and promptly addressed any issues. The meals were organic, fresh, and made with local ingredients. The complimentary bicycles were useful to visit nearby towns.
The hotel can get very crowded during the holidays, making it hard to find space in the pools. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, and it can get hot during summer months. There was some noise outside that woke me up earlier than I had planned.

The hotel had a great variety of amenities including a large indoor swimming pool and a relaxing sauna. the breakfast was delicious and varied. the hotel was in a great location, close to many shops and restaurants.
The hotel was quite noisy, especially in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep in. the views from some of the rooms were not great, with some facing a busy street.
